THE FARM OF THE GRANJA, located in Aguas Santas ` Maia - Porto, is a typical recreation and vacation farm on the outskirts of Porto, and was built and owned by a well-known noble family from the northern capital. It was the place where messengers or visitors were received, who did their errands here, without having to enter the private part of the house or gardens.
On the outside there are three terraces that make up the current garden area of ​​the house. At the lower level is located the boxwood garden already described; in the middle level there is currently an extensive lawn of support to the pool / pool. In the upper is planted a barrier of tall trees that protects and isolates the house.
